This is a 2nd shift position (2pm to 10:30pm)   

SUMMARY:

Performs routine unskilled and limited semi-skilled manual work in general maintenance of the combined facilities of Alivio Medical Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Performs prescribed cleaning routines of assigned facilities according to daily, weekly, monthly or other regularly scheduled time period

•  Empties garbage cans

•  Changes light bulbs

•  Monitors the public spaces within the building during regular clinical hours and responds to maintenance needs including, but not limited to: pick up, cleaning of bathrooms, waiting areas and hallways

•  Responds to immediate clean up or maintenance needs identified by staff

•  Identifies and addresses any observed safety hazards (slip, trip or fall hazards as well as electrical

•  Washes, cleans, and properly stores tools and equipment at the end of shift

•  Reports concerns about public and private waste pickup services

•  Performs daily or seasonal grounds maintenance including street/sidewalk, walkway sweeping, gutter/drain and alley clearing, pick up of trash, snow removal or de-icing

•  Reports graffiti and/or cleans off building

•  Opens or closes facility as assigned per shift

•  Opens or locks offices as required by authorized staff

•  Assists Facility Manger with maintenance related projects, etc.

•  Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor
