The pan-Mediterranean restaurant opened to rave reviews and features a “green” focus specializing in dishes using ingredients grown on Midwestern farms or in the greenhouse on the premises. Autre Monde also offers seasonal cocktails, a well-edited list of 30 artisanal wines and craft brews. |  |  | Berwyn Kia 7050 W Ogden Ave The operators of Willowbrook Ford/Kia dealership were handpicked by Kia Corporate to operate the new Berwyn Kia dealership after an aggressive search by the BDC to fill this vacant storefront on Historic Route 66. Berwyn Kia purchased and remodeled the south side of the former Phelan Dodge dealership. With a newly revamped line of automobiles such as the Kia Soul, the automaker hopes to increase its US market share by almost 40% in the coming years. TIF funds went towards the purchase of land and redevelopment work at the new location. | Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar 7130 W Cermak Rd Resulting from a redevelopment agreement with Berwyn Gateway Partners, Buffalo Wild Wings wasted no time opening its newest location at the northeast corner of Harlem and Cermak. Completed in early November, the new restaurant broke sales records in the Chicago market. Serving its signature wings in a sports bar atmosphere, Buffalo Wild Wings is the first of six national tenants to go in this new development. |  |  | Culver's 6943 W Roosevelt Rd Approved in late 2010, Culver's opened with a bang in the spring of 2011. Working with the City to assemble the necessary land, TIF funds helped cover acquisition costs. This quick-casual restaurant adds its signature Butter Burgers and Frozen Custard to the ever-increasing dining options on Roosevelt Road. | Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins 6601 W Cermak Rd Being the first Dunkin Donuts to open in Chicagoland over 40 years ago, it was time for a makeover. TIF money was used to reconfigure and update the commercial space. Work included both interior and exterior improvements to the building plus improvements to the parking lot and drive-thru. TIF funding supported the purchase of a new awning and signage for the office's storefront. In business since 2009, they specialize in helping businesses with accounting services, payroll management, tax planning, tax preparation, bookkeeping and business consulting. | Paisans Pizzeria & Bar 6226 W Ogden Ave Pasians Pizzeria & Bar opened this year to great fanfare. This 20,000 square foot pizzeria and bar was an adaptive re-use of a vacant warehouse. Utilizing the wide, open space and incorporating plenty of steel, crafted wood, and reclaimed bricks, TIF funds helped with the purchase and renovation of the building. While pizza is the main draw, the menu features a wide variety of offerings including salads, wraps, burgers and sandwiches.
