    Event Description:
The Women is Business group uses the LEAN IN model to frame our conversation around leadership and overall empowerment. This session will focus on Engaging. Engage positive thinking to counter fears and build courage. By deliberately grounding ourselves in strengths that come from our past success, we gain the confidence to move into action and take risks. When you focus on what’s possible, you can overcome your fear of failure.

The takeaways from this session will be the following:
    • Fill the room with your presence
    • Take Ownership of your experiences
    • Learn to take risks and take action
In preparation for the meeting consider the following reading or viewing any of the following links below:
    1. Take A Risk: The Odds Are Better Than You Think
    2. Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are
    3. The Walk From No to Yes
If you cannot get through any of these items, don't fret! There is still plenty to be gained in these meetings for new faces to the most prepared participants. It's wonderfully organic!
