3 outdoor
swimming pools, 2 soccer fields, 4 softball fields, 2 baseball
fields, a full-size outdoor roller hockey rink, and an outdoor
sport court. The Department also sponsors 3 senior citizens’ groups,
the Berwyn Art League, the Berwyn
Historical Society, Parent/Tot
Group, Berwyn Blazer Soccer Parents
Association, Berwyn Bash
Girls’ Softball
Organization, Lady Mustang Youth
Girls’ Basketball Association,
Mustang Youth Boys’ Basketball
Organization, Berwyn Bulldog Boys’ Baseball

and the Chili-Dogs Inline Hockey Association.

The Berwyn Park District and
the North
Berwyn Park District,
in addition to the City of Berwyn
Recreation Department, are established for the
purpose of providing parks, facilities and recreational programs
for the community. Each sponsor special events, trips, and
activities for
tiny tots, peewees, juniors, youths, teens, adults, and mature
adults. Berwyn is a
community where
people of all ages
and those with special
needs can enjoy
year-round recreational
programs.
