"I believe that
the heart and soul of the City of Berwyn is found within
our neighborhoods. The revitalization of our business
districts and the hometown nature of our neighborhoods
combined with our excellent schools, provides a tremendous
environment to raise a family." |
| Mayor Michael
A. O'Connor, City of Berwyn |
Berwyn’s location may well be its single biggest asset.
Conveniently located within one mile of two major transportation
arteries, the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) to the north and
the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) to the south.
Berwyn’s northeast edge is less than a mile from Chicago’s
west city limits and just minutes from the bustling Loop business
district.
Berwyn has three convenient railroad stations, serviced by
METRA commuter railroad that provide tremendous customer potential
and visibility for local business and offer Berwyn residents
ready access to area jobs and attractions. PACE bus service
is extensive and both O’Hare and Midway airports are
easy driving distance.

Actual Boundaries North: Roosevelt
