The BDC offers several ways that members can use their skills to improve Berwyn. Make a difference-serve on a BDC Committee/Commission.

Chamber Services Committee: meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 8:30 am for new and ongoing marketing, brainstorming sessions, discussion on the Buy Berwyn Shop Local Initiative and membership recruitment efforts. Those with a particular interest, creative talent or marketing background are encouraged to participate!

Latino Business Committee: meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 8:00 am to conduct activities aimed at outreach within the Latino business community and event planning for the Fiesta Nuestras Raíces.

Depot District Special Events Committee: meets the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:15 pm to plan special events in the Depot District, including Bloom 'N Zoom, Monster Mini-Golf Pub Crawl, Clean Sweep Garage Sale, Cruise Nites, Oktoberfest, and "Deck the Depot" Festival of Lights.

Historic Route 66 Car Show Committee meets as needed to plan the Route 66 Car Show.

Cermak Road/Roosevelt Road TIF Advisory Commission: meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 8:30 am to make recommendations for improvements within these two TIF redevelopment districts.

Ogden Avenue/South Berwyn Depot District TIF Advisory Commission: meets 3rd Thursday of each month at 4:30 pm to make recommendations for improvements within these two TIF redevelopment districts.

Commercial Loan Committee: meets 2nd Thursday of each month at 4:00 pm for the purpose of administering the City's Commercial Loan Program.  Because subject matter is confidential in nature, participation is by invitation only.
